The group company - PLR - has its roots in Tirupati and began in 1980 by executing civil contracts in Construction, Irrigation, Roads and Railways.During the period of 1995 - 96 the company diversified into mining works and expanded into the growing market of construction and mining services.After more than two decades of executing contracts in various fields, the company has acquired expertise in laying National Highways, State Highways and other ancillary works.

PLR Groups has projects worth ₹7000 crores with Government of India and has a turnover of more than ₹1280 crores for the year 2022. PLR Groups has expanded its activities abroad and formulated PLR Projects- Zambia Ltd and PLR Projects - Tanzania Ltd. In the year 2021 PLR Groups has opened its second Ferro Alloy plant in Zambia.

Sivasakthi Diary is two decade old Milk processing unit processing 50,000 litres of milk per day. Fresh Milk in sachets is supplied to Metro cities of Chennai and Bengaluru. Dairy is an state of art plant and is expanding its capacity and modernising in Aseptic Milk packaging for longer shelf life.

PLR Foods Products is established in the year 2011. Started commercial production in the year 2013 to manufacture Aseptically packed fruit juices for Exporting all around the World. PLR Food products is managed by expertise Food technologists and Food Science experts under the leader ship of Mr. Sudhir Reddy, Managing Director from the family of PLR. The company has FSSC 22000 food safety management system standards.
